2019 Sangiovese, Alice Vineyards

This brilliant release from the 2019 vintage is crafted with world-class Sangiovese grapes from Alice Vineyards in Sonoma Valley. On the nose, seductive aromas of dark fruits mingle with nuances of licorice, espresso, tobacco, fresh baked toffee, roasted hazelnut, and cedar. On the palate, deep flavors of black cherry, dark plum and ripe boysenberry are intertwined with harmonious notes of lavender, spices, and a touch of hickory smoke. With time in the glass, the perfect balance of robust flavors, bright acidity, and fine tannins become more elegant and refined. 

Pairs well with eggplant parmesan, wild mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, and lamb meatballs.
