2021 Syrah, Vadasz Vineyards

This release features aromas of blueberries, fresh herbs, cinnamon, clove, and cedar followed by lush flavors of wild strawberry, black cherry, boysenberry, fresh ground pepper, vanilla, and savory black olive. The wine is well balanced with earthy flavors, moderate tannins, rich complexity, and bright acidity. This full-bodied red wine best suited to pair with slow-roasted barbecue pork, pan-seared duck breast with berry reduction sauce, grilled meats and vegetables, rich pasta bolognese, aged cheddar and Gouda cheese.
