2022 Contessa, San Leolino

Contessa is a Super Tuscan consisting of 90% Sangiovese, which brings red berry fruit flavors and bright acidity, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon to add structure, tannins, and aging potential. The organicaly grown grapes are from Tommaso Venturi’s estate which has been in his family since 1645. This inaugural release features aromas of wild berries, ripe red fruit, cocoa and fresh violets. On the palate it is highlighted by intensive notes of blackbery, dark cherry, cassis, black currant, roasted plum, cocoa and savory spices. Enjoy with family and friends!
