This outstanding Reserve blend consists of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Merlot all from the beautiful Cassata Vineyards in Sonoma Valley. From the moment it’s poured into the glass, this blend is highlighted with lofty scents of ripe fruits, cured meats, dried herbs, nutmeg, tobacco, leather, and cigar box. In the glass, these aromas are complemented with deep flavors of dark cherry, huckleberry, cassis, black plums, chocolate truffles, earth, and baking spices. 
 

A harmonious foundation of a nearly perfect structural balance of tannin and acid will support the forgiving fruit of this young Cabernet that is showing generous aromas of boysenberry, wild blueberry, allspice and red currant, while the palate gently expresses sweet tobacco, mountain sage and thyme, cinnamon and vanilla. 

On the nose, this Cabernet holds notes of raspberry, boysenberry, overripe black plum, and caramel, while the palate lends flavors of mulberry, black currant, plum, cacao and baking spices. Elegantly balanced with a dash of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this wine displays a strong tannin structure and finishes with a silky texture.
